wow, this guy is good. saw this a few days ago on a monster thread on dhabih's digital art forum. what's funny is the whole peanut gallery running on about how he's is a fraud, blah blah blah.

anyway, some other cool things i've found recently were awesome watercolors by this russian artist timur, and discovering the work of chuck close. also, craig mullins has been adding tutorials to his site.

Nader was up to 17 percent among independents and 18 percent among progressives.

in other news, milestone 18 is out, w/ mathml, svg(!), and xslt(!!) support.

if i had some (um, make that a lot) spare change, i would definitely pick up a d30. the img quality is especially impressive, although it looks like shooting raw is more of a pain that it should be.

A Matrix & Ghost in the Shell comparison - yeah, some of em are coincidences, however some of the matrix scenes pointed out seem to be flat out... "homages." (the flattering kind) um, well, the wachowski's did say they were "inspired" by some anime.
