Paid NT$4150 ($130) on NT$4300 posted. More expensive than in the US but didn't feel like haggling and just needed a new drive for my mom's computer.

A pretty decent price for a decent enough enclosure. NT$299 = ~$9
This store also had decent prices for USB Wifi peripherals. About a block from the Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station on the way to the Guanghua Digital Plaza.
This place also had decent prices on Smart Card readers (about $7 and up).

Not the cheapest for the card reader (NT$370 [$11.50] vs NT$330 somewhere else), but decent pricing on the other peripherals. NT$520 (~$16) for the USB Wifi adapter, and NT$250 (~$8) for the ethernet adapter.
Note, that this particular card reader not only does every single type of memory card (including SDXC), but also has a SIM card slot and also a smart card reader, which apparently includes reading of iCash and potentially other types of smart cards? Will have to try stuff out.
This was in a corner shop a block or so from Guanghua Digital Plaza.

This place on the 3rd Fl of the Guanghua Digital Plaza had the best pricing of all the places I went around (which is err, everywhere in the Plaza and most of the places outside). For example, the 2nd best pricing for the international power adapter (which is about half the size of my old one - and yes, all the prongs do fold up flush) was NT$350 vs NT$299.
The USB hub was the most compact 4 port hub I could find - it has an internal cable folded down on the bottom. There were some squids I saw, but they were actually quite bulky. I'm surprised no one has ever made the female version of the "pin only" USB connerctors. If you did that with a squid, I bet you could halve or even quarter the volume...
16GB Class 4 MicroSD card was NT$1150 ($36), about the same price as in the US (Class 10 for NT$2900 [$90], also about the same price as in the US).
This store had a wide selection of small MicroSD card readers, but none of them were as sexy and small as the elago (which is just brilliantly designed): www.amazon.com/dp/B002HGFKR8?tag=randomfoo-20&camp=21...;

There were a couple great component shops around.
