Old News...

==================================================
March 25, 1998 (4:40am)

What is this strange calling that urges me to only update my homepage in the early twilight hours when I am putting off work? I don't know. I have a paper that I've been doing (due this past Monday), and two midterms on Thursday. I've also, started corresponding with a friend on what's happening back home in Stratford, CT, so that's also cool.

Thoughts on my mind:
DVD is cool. Divx sucks. Special Editions are awesome. Titanic better come out on DVD. There aren't enough hours in the day. I need a better work ethic.

OK, I sort of started on my new homepage design.  Decided to toss the frameset and am instead using some javascript (if your browser supports frames it should support javascript [except for ie3 users, as usual m$ screwed you]).  In case you're browser doesn't support javascript, that's ok because I have my text navigation menu at the top right (works well in lynx also).  I haven't actually implement the javascript yet.  It will basically consist of a pop-up menu at the top of the page which will give you access to any page on the site, and a java or javascript roll-over menu on the left side.  Flash still isn't out of the picture, but I'm just learning it...

March 13, 1998 (2:30am)

I haven't done as much as I would have liked to so far over spring break. I'm going to try to dedicate the rest of this week (and weekend) doing some work though (and trying to wake up earlier). In case you're interested, I did start to do some coloring of some artwork. Here's a small thumbnail of what I've been working on for the past hour or so.

March 8, 1998 (3:00pm)

Nothing like waking up in the late afternoon to start off your day.  I finished the FBLA Club pages, there ended up being five of them, but it wasn't too hard.  I will be starting doing school work in earnest starting tomorrow.  I'll also be starting to do some work on my own page soon, first with just an overhaul of this text page, and then a frameset that will encapsulate this.

March 7, 1998 (1:00am)

Well, Spring Break officially began an hour ago. Woohoo!
Ok, I need that. Hard to believe that it's already a quarter through 1998. I just noticed it as I was changing my dates from 1997 to 1998. ;-) I have done a little work already. Here's a little something I started working on for my old high school FBLA Club.

March 4, 1998 (2:30pm)

Slept all day, that's always fun.  All that's stands between me and break is one lab, and one homework assignment (going to classes and stuff doesn't really count).

Happy quote of the day:

Those who dare to fail miserably can achieve greatly.
Robert F. Kennedy

Here's a link to Brian Hook's (idsoftware) .plan file, he has started posting some very interesting (imho) articles.

March 1, 1998

Wee. It's 4:30am. I'm not exactly sure why I'm up, but I am. I've managed to do some useful stuff, so that's always good I guess. I got my todo list for Spring Break, and I have most of my work done, except for the stuff that's due. An excellent time to go to sleep, methinks. In the meantime, check out this righteous page on how you too can do kick ass computer art. All I can say is "wow". I am definitely going to try some of this stuff out during break.

February 24, 1998

Me again. Just making a quick 3:30am update, seeing as I still have a hellalot of studying to do for Math. Eek. Took a slight break looking at some friends' web pages. There's some trick stuff there. Eddie's page looks nice, and Gordon and Nick have very interesting pages content and design-wise (intentionally or not). In the interest of possibly getting some sleep this morning before my EE101 quiz, Math126 quiz (trig substitutions suck!), and CS105 midterm, I regretfully will go back to work. I guess I won't be finishing my program today.

February 15, 1998

Well, I talked about the site design, and in the end of the past month, I did get a chance to scan them in, so I decided to spend the ten minutes it takes to crop and put up some of the designs so you can see what I'll be doing in my free time...  And the answer to your question is "Yes, I am a supernerd."

The last image of the helmet, was also something I was working on for the Dean's Hall T-Shirt...

February 14, 1997

This is GSIMUN weekend.  I've put up a page with some links for my committee members who might need some more information writing resolutions.  It's nothing fancy, but these links might be helpful.  Check them out here.

January 23, 1997

I've done a little restructuring on this page.  The reason I'm doing it at 4am in the morning is because this is practically the only free time I have and I'm feeling sort of embarrassed at how lazy I've been working on this page...  I've had a site design ready to be implemented since last October...  Ahh well,  there's always Spring Break, or next year.  I put up my Schedule for anyone who needs/wants to see it.

January 4, 1997

Well, it's a new year.  I've passed my classes this past semester, I'm still alive, and this is the third time I've typed this because Front Page keeps crashing.   Yes, being offline, and bored, I'm updating this homepage and I'm not using emacs (and saving often).

Until I am motivated enough to implement my site redesign (I have it all drawn out), I'm just going to give this place a facelift since I've heard that there are actually people who visit here occasionally.  This basically includes moving all my computer info onto a separate page, adding a few anchors, and putting a lot of stuff into tables.

December 10, 1997

Having successfully putting off studying all day for my Math final tomorrow, I found, quite to my surprise, my old public_html directory of my old homepage on my hard drive. So, just for kicks, I put up the design I had made for the Bunnell homepage here. Check it out. I personally thought it was tres cool, but the internet club for whom I had designed this for as a favor didn't smile highly upon it for some reason. The links for the skeletons of all the pages (just some filler) should work. I admit the copyright stuff may have been a *little* anal, but overall it wasn't that bad. You can check out their take on the homepage here. Now I should stop putting off doing studying... or my home page... This temp just has to go.

December 4, 1997

Well, I've been putting off working on this page for quite a while. Unfortunately, being without a computer for about 2 months didn't help any. Nor did my constant procrastination as far as school work goes. This page has become more permanent than temporary, so I might as well work on it a bit. As soon as my SCSI card and PD drive are working, I'll load up most of my _real_ homepage.
